Purple Haze is a fantastic scent from RJ Soaps that really surprised me with how fresh and relaxing it was. The scent profile consists of blackberry, incense, patchouli, and musk, and the blackberry absolutely steals the show right from the start. It's wonderfully fruity without being overly sweet, and there's an inherent freshness to it that makes the scent feel vibrant and clean.

The incense and patchouli provide a subtle spicy backbone that pairs beautifully with the blackberry. I've always enjoyed the combination of dark fruits and earthy spices, and Purple Haze executes that pairing exceptionally well. As the scent develops, I also pick up a light floral quality that I believe comes from the incense and patchouli blend. While not listed as a primary note, it adds a brightness that makes the overall experience feel calming and incredibly enjoyable during a shower.

The musk serves as the finishing touch, acting almost like a footnote to the scent profile. It adds just enough funk and depth to keep things interesting without becoming overpowering or animalic. Everything works together in a balanced way that makes this scent unique and memorable.

Performance-wise, RJ Soaps delivers exactly what I've come to expect. The lather was excellent, producing rich, creamy suds with ease. This bar uses their High Tallow formula, which leaves the skin feeling fantastic after use. Another bonus is that there's zero grit in this soap, making it perfect for anyone who prefers a smoother bar or has skin that doesn't react well to exfoliating additives.

Overall, I'd give Purple Haze an 8/10. The scent is enjoyable, relaxing, and offers a great balance of fruity, spicy, floral, and musky elements. Combined with RJ Soaps' outstanding soap base, it creates an excellent shower experience that I can easily recommend.

One final piece of advice: get yourself a shower net! The combination of a quality soap like this and a shower net creates mountains of lather and provides fantastic exfoliation. It's a game-changer.
