From the mind that brought us Clockwork and Terminate Destruction comes another incredible creation from Jairus Pascale and Nick, and let me tell you—Poseidon's Rage is an absolute triumph.
Right from the start, this scent dives headfirst into dark aquatic territory. The cold mineral brine is the star of the opening for me, creating an atmosphere that genuinely feels like standing in the middle of a vast ocean surrounded by mist, crashing waves, and endless horizon. It's aquatic in the best possible way, but not your typical bright, fresh aquatic. This one is deep, mysterious, and commanding.

Interestingly, the tobacco notes aren't heavy players upfront. Instead, they seem to work behind the scenes, adding depth and subtle sweetness to the composition. The Black Cavendish Tobacco especially feels more like a smooth, caramelized tobacco influence than a bold smoky note, helping round out the profile without demanding attention.
As the scent develops, a touch of the gunpowder tobacco emerges. It's more mineral than spicy, with a gentle black pepper-like character that complements the briny oceanic elements beautifully. The Deep Sea Accord and Kelp Shadow Accord then reinforce that seaside atmosphere, adding texture and character without pushing the scent into overly aquatic territory.
The Smoked Driftwood in the mid-to-late stages is phenomenal. It grounds everything with a slightly smoky, weathered wood note that feels perfectly at home in this stormy maritime landscape. Then the base arrives, and what a finish it is.
The combination of Dark Rum Resin, Abyssal Incense, and Black Amber Fusion creates an incredibly rich, resinous sweetness that is simply addictive. It's not gourmand sweet—it's something deeper and more atmospheric. The incense adds just enough spice and intrigue while the resins create this warm, almost glowing sweetness that keeps pulling you back for another sniff.
What impresses me most is how vividly this scent paints a picture. I can easily imagine a towering Greek god standing atop a jagged rock in the middle of a raging sea, calmly smoking a massive driftwood pipe while storms gather on the horizon. That's the energy this fragrance captures, and it does so brilliantly.
Performance lands firmly in the medium-strong category, leaning toward strong without fully crossing that line. I applied the oil twice throughout the day and followed up with butter in the evening. Interestingly, the butter seemed even more seaside-focused than the oil, which made for a really enjoyable experience. I don't own the cologne, but after wearing this, I'm definitely curious to see how it compares.
Overall, Poseidon's Rage earns a well-deserved 9.5/10 from me. It's an imaginative, expertly crafted scent that transported me somewhere else for the day. It reminds me of sitting on the porch of a weathered beachside shack, watching waves crash against the docks while I pack an old pipe with Cavendish tobacco and relax beneath darkening skies as a storm rolls in.
What an incredible scent profile and an absolutely fantastic wear.
Until next time, my friends—stay rugged and keep growing!
