Spike is an absolute winner! What's interesting about this scent is that it isn't loud or overpowering at all. Instead, it's reserved, refined, and incredibly wearable. This is the kind of scent that's perfect for a night out, a day at the office, or anywhere you want to smell fantastic without dominating the room.

Right up front, the tobacco and amber take center stage. The tobacco leans sweet rather than dry, and the amber adds a rich, resinous sweetness that makes the entire profile feel warm and inviting. The leather is present, but thankfully it's not aggressive. If you're someone who typically avoids leather scents, don't let that scare you away here—it's blended beautifully and never becomes overwhelming.

The rosewater and oud add a surprisingly enjoyable twist. Together they create a floral, woody character with just enough funk to keep things interesting. Rose isn't normally my favorite floral note, but in Spike it works exceptionally well. Combined with the oud and sweeter top notes, it becomes far more approachable than you might expect.

As the scent settles, the sweet amber musk and bourbon vanilla really shine. The amber musk adds depth and character, while the bourbon vanilla brings a smooth, warm sweetness that supports everything beneath it. The result is a scent that's sweet, smoky, slightly funky, and incredibly well balanced from top to bottom.

For strength, I'd place Spike in the Medium-Light to Medium range. It's noticeable and enjoyable throughout the day without ever becoming too strong. I found myself applying oil twice during the day and butter in the evening, and the scent remained pleasant and easy to wear.

Overall, I'm giving Spike an 8.4/10. Not only is the scent fantastic, but it genuinely helped change my perspective on rose-forward fragrances. The carrier blend is excellent as well—absorbs easily, keeps my beard feeling hydrated, and leaves it looking great. If you're searching for a smoother, milder Tobacco Tuesday scent with plenty of character, Spike is absolutely worth checking out.
